Kayla “K.D.” Masters‘ obsession with storytelling began at the age of nine when she wrote her first story on an old typewriter handed down from her grandfather.

That ended up in a pile of junk somewhere, but she didn’t stop there. Her obsession with fantasy and writing only grew, setting the foundations for the plots she has refined today.

Kayla lives in the great city of Chicago, IL, with the support of her Mr. Coffee, significant other, and two very good cats.
