Non-Exclusive Publishing

We offer an opportunity for serialized publication of completed novels and graphic novels/comics on a non-exclusive basis. This means you keep all the rights to your work and can continue to independently publish it elsewhere, such as on other platforms or in other formats such as print publication.

The benefit of a non-exclusive agreement is flexibility. Not only can your book be serialized, but it can also be published in traditional formats, allowing you to reach different audiences!

Novels accepted on a non-exclusive basis must be submitted in a completed form, including:

  • Suitability for serial online publishing

    • Serial publishing differs from the format of traditional publishing. Novels are published one or two chapters at a time, and a single title can run for hundreds or even thousands of chapters. An ongoing series will typically be published under one title, instead of being separated into different volumes. We typically combine multi-book series into one title to ensure that an author’s story is presented in the way that is most advantageous for attracting and keeping readers.

  • at least 50,000 words in length

  • divided into at least 50 chapters (approximately 1,000-2,000 words each, depending on the genre)

  • at least 80 chapters

  • Graphic Novels (organized by page): 12-15 pages minimum per chapter

  • Strip Comics (vertically organized, scrolling): 36-45 panels minimum per chapter

  • Cover image

  • Short blurb/synopsis

  • Proper formatting according to company guidelines
